SR SARITA VERMAAK
Sister Sarita Vermaak is a Professional Nurse with a special interest in Primary health care and Psychiatry. Growing up in a small town in Limpopo with her single mother and two sisters, she learned from a young age the effect of an illness like depression and what it can do to a person and a family, with her dad being a sufferer.
She already knew then that she would get involved in the medical field to make a difference one day, even if she could just reach one person.
Little did she know that many years later, she would have already reached so many more with her kind, compassionate and caring manner. Although working in her chosen profession in a hospital or clinic setting was extremely fulfilling, she just felt that she did not get enough opportunity to really connect with the patients. There was always so much to do and so little time to do it in. With support from her loving husband and two children, she decided to do something about this.
"That is the main reason for me opening my own practice - I want to spend time with my clients and really get to know them. To make a real difference in someone's life, you need to give them:
... your time
... your undivided attention
... your expertise
... your best
Every person deserves at least that."

Born and raised in a lively town in North West, Nastasha has always been an enthusiast. Whether it was academics, sports or socializing, she pursued it with passion and commitment. Her ability to stay focused on what is in front of her, while maintaining a balanced lifestyle lead her to achieve many personal goals like proudly representing her country in both netball and athletics at school level.
Today she is a beautiful, young woman, and still the enthusiast. She lives life to the fullest and motivate others to do the same. Living well is very important to her and with marketing as one of her majors, it only made sense for her to join her mother in this new venture of promoting health and wellness.
After finishing her degree in Business Management, she then decided to take on an international accredited nutrition course to learn more about the effect of modern day nutrition on the human body. She believes that it is so much easier to market what you know and believe.
"Good nutrition is a vital part of leading a healthy lifestyle. Combined with physical activity, your diet can help you to reach and maintain a healthy weight, reduce your risk of chronic disease (like heart disease and cancer), and promote your overall health."
Although Nastasha is currently mainly involved in the marketing and promotion of the practice, she will soon be providing crucial guidelines and tips on healthy eating- and lifestyle changes as well as exercise and weight management.
